Let me be clear: Trump’s lawsuits are a fundraising effort. It is shameful of the GOP to humor it at all, but it is not a new tactic. The Trump donation emails are explicit: any donations under $8,000 do *not* go to the Trump legal team–they go to the Trump and RNC PACs (soft money accounts).

The lawsuits have almost all failed. In Arizona, the case was dismissed “with prejudice” out of its frivolity.

The Michigan case is settled: Trump lost and his team has withdrawn their major suit.

Their current lawsuit in the state is literally just “throw out the whole election and let the state legislature decide.” That’s called corruption, especially given Trump has invited the entire Michigan state GOP to visit him.

This is *after* he contacted the certifiers of the vote in Detroit.
Biden has also won the Georgia recount, as of just now:

Trump’s remaining suit in PA is the same as the remaining MI suit: throw out the election in those states altogether. Such a move would be wildly unprecedented (and beyond the jurisdiction of the courts imo, as certification exists for this exact reason).

The point is that this is absolutely disgraceful and simply unacceptable. This is making a *mockery* of the legal system. Giuliani failed to even provide the standard of scrutiny to be applied in his 14th amendment claim: a basic law year 1 concept. It is absurd.
If not for the politicization of these lawyers, they would be *stripped* of their law licenses for such obvious and egregious errors. Let alone ethics violations (see: the number of Trump lawyers that *have* resigned).

The election is over.
Concede.
Concede like George H. W., or John McCain, or Jimmy Carter, or Mitt Romney, or John Kerry, or even Hillary Clinton, or *any* modern defeated candidate.
Trump has had his chance in court: it has failed. It is time to give it up.
And I have *no* idea how Trump supporters don’t see that Trump set-up for this exact situation for months by disparaging mail-in votes. “Oh don’t do those mail-ins!” then turns around and cries foul when Republicans stop doing mail-ins (possibly costing him Georgia, ironically enough).
